Young Dancers' Division
The beginning of your little dancer's journey...let you little dancer explore the joys of dance! This division is for our young dancers ages 3-6. Most classes are combination classes which allows dancers to learn multiple styles. See our class descriptions below for more details.
Class Descriptions

Creative Movement (45min)
for 3 yr olds (as of 9/1/23)
This class is a combination class of ballet and tap.
Beg Ballet 1 + Tap (45min)
for 4 yr olds (as of 9/1/23)
This class is a combination class of ballet and tap.
Beg Ballet 2 + Jazz (45min)
for 5 yr olds (as of 9/1/23)
This class is a combination class of ballet and tap.
Elem Ballet 1 + Jazz (1hr)
for 6-yr olds (as of 9/1/23)
Students will focus on ballet technique fundamentals and will get the chance to learn basic jazz steps at the end of each class. Jazz shoes are not needed, dancers will stay in their ballet shoes for the jazz portion.

Tap 1 (45 mins)
for 6+ (as of 9/1/23)
Students will focus on beginning tap fundamentals, rhythm, and timing.

Hip Hop 1 (45mins)
for 6+ (as of 9/1/23)
Students will focus on beginner hip hop fundamentals, coordination, and remembering choreography

Class Attire
Creative Movement, Beg Ballet 1 + Tap, Beg Ballet 2 + Tap:
Black Leotard (can have attached skirt)
Bloch brand salmon tights
Pink Ballet Shoes
Black Tap shoes (Capezio N625C or So Danca TA35).
Hair should be pulled back off the face and secured in a bun. Clips w/ bun holders are suggested – easier for parents (available at dance stores).
Elem Ballet 1 + Jazz:
Black Leotard (can have attached skirt)
Bloch brand salmon tights
Pink Ballet Shoes (will be worn for jazz portion as well)

Comfortable top.
Black “jazz” pants, tight fitting shorts or capris.
Black tap shoes (Capezio N625C, So Danca TA35, or So Danca Black TA04/TA05)
Hair in ponytail.

Hip Hop 1:
Comfortable top and pants. No Jeans,
Shoes: Can wear Black Trimfoot JS200 OR Regular sneakers that are bought and used SOLEY for dance class – DO NOT WEAR OUTSIDE!
